Guidelines for Church Attendance
We are now allowed to have worship services with up to 250 people in attendance since Clinton County has gone Green as per PA Dept. of Health. We still want to maintain as much safety as possible for the people who attend services. First of all let me say that we will still continue to live broadcast worship for those who choose not to attend in person worship services for the foreseeable future.
The following are the guidelines I would like to set.
Service will start on June 7 with Phelps Chapel having worship at 9:00 AM and First Church having worship at 10:30 AM.
1 Face masks should be worn when coming into and leaving the Worship Service. They may be removed once in the sanctuary as long as you maintain at least 6 feet of space between your family and the closest family to you. You may continue to wear your face mask through the entire service if you wish.
2 We are asking that you keep two pews open between you and the family in front of you.
3 Hand sanitizer will be provided as you enter the sanctuary. Please use it as you come in and as you leave.
4There will be no Bulletins provided. The service will be shown on the screen.
5 An offering plate will be placed in the back of the church for you to place your offering in. The offering plate will not be passed.
6 Please refrain from shaking hands and hugging, though I know the temptation will be great since we have not seen each other in a long time. We also ask that you refrain from congregating before and after the service with out maintaining social distancing. We know that you want to greet one another, but we ask that you maintain a safe distance and keep this time of greeting as minimal as possible.
7 We ask that during the hymns that you wear your mask
