Our Warm & Fuzzy project started as a way for us to give hats, gloves and scarves to those in need. The church members would purchase and donate these items and our youth members would distribute them door to door.
Now, we gather in work sessions and make our own hats, mittens, scarves and even blankets out of fleece. These items have been distributed at a local food pantry, sent to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota and a local senior living center among others.
Our latest project which began in November 2017 is to make 1000 scarves that we will be distributing once again at our local food pantry.
